Ilaje ‘ll not regret re-electing Akeredolu -Aiyedatiwa

Ondo state Deputy Governor-elect, Mr. Lucky Aiyedatiwa has said that Ilaje people would not regret voting for Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu for a second term.
Aiyedatiwa stated this during his thank you tour to the people of Igbokoda in Ilaje Local government Area of Ondo State.
While addressing the crowd at Williams Place, GRA, Igbokoda, he thanked them for the massive votes they pulled for AKETIDATIWA 2020, noting that Ilaje has proven to Governor Oluwarotimi Odunayo Akeredolu, (SAN) that they don’t back down on their words.
The Deputy Governor elect who was accompanied by his wife Mrs. Oluwaseun Esther Aiyedatiwa while hosting the mammoth crowd of well wishers to various delicacies, reassured them to be a worthy son who will not bring shame to his people while in government.
He added that he will be open to constructive criticisms from people as it will guide his actions better.
Present at the event were the Executive Chairman, Ilaje Local Government, Mr. Goke Jatunwase, SA to the Governor on Education, Dr Olawunmi Ilawole, APC chieftain in the State, Apostle Raphael Danilola, Ilaje Elders and various support/focus group representatives across Ilaje.
Meanwhile, he had earlier visited the Executive Chairman of Okitipupa Local Government, Mr Igbekele Akinrinwa, at his residence after visited various scenes of looting, vandalism, wanton arson that took place in Okitipupa, on 22nd, October 2020.
He, however, promised that Okitipupa the headquarter of Okitipupa Local Government, would rise again.
He affirmed that Okitipupa has been known for her relatives peace but for what he described as unscrupulous element who perpetrated this evil lately. “These evil miscreants will not go unpunished,” he said.
