Succour would soon come the way of auto parts dealers at the Mojere (Ilesa Garage) auto parts Market as Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu of Ondo State has promised to embark on complete renovation of the market in no distant time.

Akeredolu made the pledge while addressing the traders during his unscheduled visit to the market to have a first hand information about the state of things in the market.

He assured the auto parts dealers/sellers and other traders in the market of better days ahead just as he advised them to be patient with him, saying that work would soon begin on the market road.

According to the governor, government would first of all start with putting concrete on the road in the market and thereafter begin renovation of all the shops for the comfort of the traders.

He told the traders that concreting the road would be better because it last longer than putting asphalt.

Ilesa Garage is the biggest  auto parts market in Akure, the state capital, but has suffered neglect and lacks basic amenities, like good road and good stores.

Governor Akeredolu said his administration would give the market a facelift and befitting structures for the comfort of all.

He particularly thanked the people for their unalloyed support, especially in the recently concluded general elections in the state, promising them that government would not neglect them, but ensure that they benefit from the dividends of good governance in the state.

Speaking on behalf of the traders, the Babaloja of Mojere Market, Kayode Oluwafemi, lauded the governor for his good works across the state. He appreciated the governor for coming to the aid of the traders, saying the development would ease their suffering.

Oluwafemi assured the governor of the readiness of all the traders to continue to support his administration in bid to take the state to the next level of greatness.
