I’m eager to be back on pitch –Ibe

one of the most exciting and experienced players in the Nigeria professional Football league (NPLF), Ibe Peter has said that he is eager to be back on the pitch.
Ibe who has just returned from a month injury disclosed this to newsmen in Akure that he can’t wait to return to the pitch in order to contribute his quota to his club Sunshine Stars in the NPFL.
“I have missed playing quality football alongside my team mates, I just can’t wait to return to the pitch so as to help my team’s quest in securing one of the continental slots come the end of the season, he concluded”.
He signed for Sunshine stars of Akure during the off season and he has grown from strength to strength in his debut season for the Owena Whales in the elite league.
The soft spoken player who actually attributed his steady rise in the game to his former side, Cynosure FC of Abakaliki, a club where he represented last season.
“I’ll personally like to thank Cynosure fc for giving me the platform which made Sunshine stars to see and sign me, saying signing for a team like Sunshine stars is a great achievement for me as an individual”.
“Playing for a modest side like Sunshine stars has been awesome for me as the management, technical crew and the players have all been helpful for me settling down at the club”.
Sunshine stars will be visiting the Aper Aku Stadium the home ground of Lobi stars Makurdi Monday (today) but Ibe Peter who is recuperating from an injury he sustained will miss the game.
