U p – and-coming artiste, Chukwuka Olu Chukwu, popularly known as E- praiser and a Student of the Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA), said he chosed music because it was his calling.
According to him, being a member of the chorister afforded him the platform and ability to compose and write song.
He stated this during an interview with Weekend Extravaganza.
Speaking about how he got inspiration, “l mostly receive it while praying and sometimes, it could come while watching Christian movies.
He narrated, that In a particular movie he watched, a certain minister usually gets inspiration from the holy spirit, the spirit comes in form of human to teach him in his dream, but sadly, this minister lost this gift when the sin of self glorification took over him.
“From this movie, I began to understand what has been happening to me. Someone has been teaching me, though not always in the dream so I began to pray for more of this teachings.
Speaking about his music Ministry, he said God has been his backbone ever since he started ministering to people through music.
“When I was in choir, i have been seeing myself as a Gospel artiste working for God through dream and prophecy.
“My aims are to fulfill purpose and allow God to bless people using me as a vocal vessel in his vineyard.
“l want to thank the Lord for what he has done in my life, particularly since the day he has given me the mandate to praise Him with different songs, he has never for once disappointed me”, he said.
He urge every gospel artistes to understand that they are not entertainers, they should keep running with God and never an alternative and also not to give up even when the light has not publicly surfaced.
