The group leader, Oluwafunsho, urged the lawmakers to stand firm for what is right and not be intimidated by threat from any quarters.

“We are the Concerned Citizens of Ondo State and we are here to charge the lawmakers to do their jobs concerning the recent fracas in the State.

“We all know that the House of Assembly members are lawmakers representing every community in the State”

According to him, the group will continue to solidarise with the Assembly in the discharge of its constitutional responsibility and will stand for what is just and fair for the benefit of the People of the State

“We want Justice as concerned citizens of Ondo State, we don’t want them to be intimidated by the move of those who have been going in and out of Court over the matter.

“What we need as good citizens of Ondo State is accountability of public fund and therefore there’s need for them to do their Job as expected, we don’t want any forces to stop them, we are solidly behind the Lawmakers”

Other members of the group also affirmed their support for the State Assembly.
