Improved service delivery, promise delivered —Aragbaiye

The Ondo State Head Of Service, Mr Dare Aragbaiye has made good on his promise to improve the quality of service delivery across the Ministries, Departments and Agencies.
This was made known at the 4th Quarterly Interactive Session with the Change Ambassadors.
Mr Aragbaiye who appreciated the Change Ambassadors said the improved quality of service came to fruition mainly through the ODSIP Programme and some other Reform initiatives.
The Reform Programme which was designed to address most of the dysfunctions plaguing the bureaucracy is not only familiar, but also pleasing to Mr. Governor and the Public Service.
While attesting to the goodwill the Change Ambassadors have been giving the Office of the Head of Service and this administration in general, he urged them not to rest on their oars as the job ahead is still enormous.
The Head of Service who welcomed the 19 Change Agents of the Local Government to the event harped on the fact that the business of Reform is a collective one which must be taken seriously.
While explaining Governor Akeredolu’s administration’s focus in the second tenure tagged REDEEMED, he enjoined the Change Ambassadors to give their unwavering support to whomever succeeds him and accord the office the respect it deserves as this was likely his last interaction with them in that capacity.
The Permanent Secretary, Local Government Pension Transitional Department, Mr Bunmi Eniayewu who was present at the event advised that principal officers and union leaders be carried along to contribute their quota in ensuring smooth service delivery
In his remarks, the Permanent Secretary, Service Matters Department, Mr Bayo Philip who lauded Aragbaiye’s initiative said he sees the other states and the country at large emulating it in the nearest future.
The Secretary Reform Office, Mr Gbenga Akingbasote who joined others to shower encomium on the outgoing Head of Service, Mr Dare Aragbaiye for his outstanding performance in office as Head of Service, congratulated Governor Rotimi Akeredolu and his deputy on their well deserved second term victory while praying that God continues to use the Governor to develop Ondo State.
