Ekiti State Governor, Mr Biodun Oyebanji has congratulated Ondo State Governor, Mr Lucky Aiyedatiwa on his inauguration as Governor of the State.

Oyebanji, in a statement signed by his Special Adviser on Media, Yinka Oyebode described Aiyedatiwa’s emergence in a free and fair election and subsequent inauguration as Governor, as an evidence that democracy has taken a firm root in the Sunshine  State.

While wishing the Ondo State Governor a successful tenure that is characterized by outstanding achievements, Oyebanji urged him to extend olive hands to those who contested the governorship seat with him as well as other critical stakeholders and get their input into the government.

Oyebanji also congratulated the good people of Ondo State, the National and State leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) on the milestone.

He urged the people of Ondo State to give maximum support to the new administration so  that it can record huge success in every aspect of governance.

In the same vein, the Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Chief Olamide Oladiji congratulated Aiyedatiwa, and his Deputy, Dr Olayide Adelami on their inauguration as Governor and Deputy Governor of the state.

This was contained in a congratulatory message personally signed by the Speaker

While congratulating the Governor and his Deputy, Oladiji attributed their landslide victory in the last gubernatorial election to their unwavering passion for development across various sectors of the state in the past year.

“Mr Governor, your exemplary leadership and commitment to advancing the cause of peace, healthcare, security, and education remain a legacy for generations to come,” the statement reads.

The Speaker expressed confidence that their administration will continue to prioritise the needs of the people of Ondo State, working towards sustainable development and prosperity for all.
