The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has refuted a misleading report claiming that the Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) and the replacement of lost Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) will resume on May 27, 2025.

In a statement issued by Rotimi Oyekanmi, Chief Press Secretary to the INEC Chairman, Prof. Mahmood Yakubu ,clarified that the Commission has not announced any date for the resumption of CVR.

INEC urges the public to disregard the false report and rely only on official channels for accurate information regarding voter registration and other electoral activities.
