Invest in God’s work, Christians tasked

The Anglican Bishop of Diocese of Idoani, Rt. Rev’d Ezekiel Bolarinde Dahunsi has charged Christians to always create quality time to serve God.

Bishop Dahunsi delivering his sermon during the 10th  anniversary of the diocese called on the well-to-do in the society to take joy in investing part of their wealth to help the downtrodden and  promote evangelism.

He commended the people of Irekari in Ose local government area of Ondo state for devoting their time and resources to the development of the diocese in the last 10 years adding that, the diocese is not just only existing but waxing stronger physically and spiritually particularly on a Radio programme where many lives have been touched and transformed on weekly basis.

The clergy thanked all the priests and laities in the diocese for their dedication, commitment and obedience to the words of God.

Earlier, members of the diocese had rolled out the drums to celebrate the 10th anniversary with a week long activities which climaxed with a thanksgiving at the Cathedral Church of Holy Trinity, Idoani.

 In his goodwill message at the thanksgiving service, the Arch Bishop of Ondo/Ekiti Ecclesiastical Province, The Most Rev’d Dr. C. T.  Omotunde harped on the need for unity of purpose among members and leaders of the diocese so as to engender and accelerate the much needed development of the diocese.

Elder Sola Ajifola said since creation of the diocese on January 15, 2010, there have been remarkable evidence of physical growth and unprecedented advancement in it’s core mandate of spiritualism.
