Investment on youths critical to Aiyedatiwa’s govt – Adelami

Ondo State Deputy Governor, Olayide Adelami, has assured that the Aiyedatiwa led administration would give priority attention to the well-being of all youths in the state.

Addressing APC youth leaders across 11 wards of Owo Local Government Area of the State in his office in Akure, the Deputy  Governor said Governor Aiyedatiwa would prioritise implementation of policies that would advance their development.

“Governor Aiyedatiwa has the interest of youths at heart. And being a listening Governor, he will give priority to policies that will make life better for you.

“In fact, the Governor believes every investment on youths is for the present and future developments of the state,” Adelami said.

While appreciating the declaration of support by the youth leaders for the present administration in the state, the Deputy Governor, however, cautioned  them against falling victims of politicians who will come around to hoodwink them with money.

He said Governor Aiyedatiwa will not trick anyone with money but come out clean to present a sincere agenda of prosperity for the entire citizens and residents of the Sunshine State in a manner that will accelerate development across sectors in the State .

Earlier, the leader of the team who is also the Youth Leader in Owo Local Government Area, Oluwole Olugbode, congratulated the Deputy Governor on his appointment by Governor Aiyedatiwa and equally appreciated the Governor for the appointment.

Presenting the political aspirations of the youths to the Deputy Governor, the Youth Leader of Emure Ward II, Sunday Kazeem said the Youths would want Intelligence gathering nest in tackling insecurity .

Mr Kazeem promised to ensure total victory  for Aiyedatiwa/ Adelami joint-ticket in the forthcoming gubernatorial primary election of the All Progressives  Congress coming up soon.

A roll-up banner was thereafter presented to the Deputy Governor  to commemorate the visit .
