The Senator representing Ondo North Senatorial District, Senator Jide Ipinsagba, has congratulated Sheikh Yunus Anola on his appointment as the new Grand Chief Imam of Owo Local Government, pledging to work with him to promote unity and development in the community.
In a statement personally signed by him, the Senator said Sheikh Anola’s appointment was a testament to his dedication, wisdom, and long-standing service to Islam and humanity.
He commended the new Chief Imam for his unwavering commitment to spiritual leadership and expressed confidence that his tenure would bring renewed peace, unity, and progress to the Muslim community and the entire Owo Local Government.
“As the spiritual leader of the Muslim community in Owo, you play a vital role in promoting peace, unity, and understanding among the people. I am confident that your leadership will bring about a new era of spiritual growth and development in our beloved local government,” he said.
Ipinsagba reaffirmed his readiness to collaborate with the new Chief Imam in advancing the welfare and development of Owo, stressing that religious harmony is essential for community progress.
“As a senator who has always prioritised the welfare and development of Owo Local Government, I am committed to working closely with you to advance the interests of our community. Together, we can build a brighter future for our people,” the statement added.
He prayed for divine guidance and strength for Sheikh Anola as he assumes his new responsibility, expressing optimism that his leadership will be marked by peace, prosperity, and spiritual growth
