Ondo State Table Tennis Team has stamped their authority as the number one team in Nigeria as they won gold medal at the ongoing Nigeria Table Tennis Federal Championship at the Molade Okoya – Thomas Hall of Teslim Balogun Stadium.
The team is comprise of Mati Taiwo, Omeh Amadi, Fagbamila Akinwale, Oladiran Joshua, Oloruntade Adeola had earlier won gold medal at the National Sports Festival held in Edo state.
The team won back to back gold medal gold at the ongoing ITTF Championship after they have coasted home with gold at the Edo 2020 Festival.
The Ondo State Table Tennis coach, Dotun Omoniyi said he is optimistic that the state would still more gold as the event continues.
The championship is expected to come to an end on 22 of this month.
