The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has been commended for its tremendous effort in reducing examination malpractices to the barest minimum.

A member of the Osun State House of Assembly, Hon. Olalekan Afolabi who gave the commendation in Osogbo said this has become a standard tool to measure the quality of education among the states of the federation.

Afolabi also lauded the exemplary performances of students in the state, most especially those of the publicly owned schools in the 2018/2019 edition of the JAMB examination for producing some of the best results.

The lawmaker noted that the success became a reality as a result of the consequence of giving the needed legislative impetus to the well coordinated executive education policies, heavy investment, revolution and doggedness to the education sector.

“I am proud to share in the glory of this resourceful revolution and proud to work with a government that breathed positive life to the inherited defective education sector.

“It is an undisputable fact that the immediate past administration of Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola remoulded the platform that propelled our kids to prosper, the harvest that comes out bountifully which this succeeding government of Governor Gboyega Oyetola has since continued to irrigate in order to produce more bountiful harvests.

Afolabi said in order to have a long lasting harvest, let’s continue to support the APC-led government of Oyetola who can sustain and has indeed been sustaining this great development.

“He undoubtedly possesses the requisite rich education and mental proficiency to leverage on the successes recorded in the sector.

While congratulating the best candidate in the state, Kamarudeen Ridwan and others that made the state proud, he urged the people of the state to pray for the success of the party at the Supreme Court to ensure continuity.
