As Nigeria celebrates this year’s Democracy Day, Speaker of the Ondo State House of Assembly, Chief Oladiji Olamide, is hopeful for a better and greater country.

Chief Oladiji, in a statement by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Dr. Sehinde Fanokun, saluted those whose efforts led to today’s celebration.

While congratulating Nigerians on the numerous benefits of democracy, the Speaker stressed the need to guard the nation’s democracy jealously in order to harvest more dividends.

He called on Nigerians to be more resilient and to key into the renewed hope agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, believing that the country will emerge better, stronger, and greater.

Chief Oladiji commended Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa of Ondo State for his efforts so far in delivering the dividends of democracy to the people of the Sunshine State.

While soliciting further support from the people for the governor to do more in the years ahead, the Speaker pledged the unwavering commitment of the legislative arm of government in Ondo State to continually strengthen the pillars of democracy in the Sunshine State.
