Just In: Driver arrested over Akure caterer’s murder
The driver of an Akure-based caterer, Monsurat Debbie Olakunbi Adene (née Oyeneye), who had been on the run after killing the caterer a month ago, has been arrested by the police.
The driver, who hails from Idanre, was alleged to be the mastermind behind the brutal killing of Debbie by her driver and Personal Assistant (P.A.).
The Personal Assistant, Philip Emmanuel, a 17-year-old, who is currently facing murder charges, has already been remanded at Olokuta Correctional Centre, pending legal advice from the Directorate of Public Prosecutions (DPP).
Adene was gruesomely murdered in her house on Oda Road, Akure, on 25 July.
