Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Local Government Employees (NULGE) chairman in Akure South local government of Ondo State, Oluwatuyi Olasoji is dead.

He was confirmed dead after being rushed to the Federal Medical Centre in Owo.

Before his death, he slumped while queuing to buy petrol amid the ongoing nationwide fuel scarcity.

He reportedly underwent a surgery and died on Monday.
