Kidnappers abduct 4 -yr-old girl in Akure

A four-year-old girl, identified as Esther Olisa was on Saturday abducted by gunmen around Danjuma area of Akure, in Akure South local government area of Ondo State.
The Hope Metro gathered that the girl was kidnapped from her father’s house around 8pm on Saturday, shortly after she had dinner with her family.
A source who pleaded anonymity narrated that the victim was at home with her parents, when four huge men entered the house and collected the father’s phones and on their way out, they picked up the little girl and left in a black Toyota Camry with tinted glass.
The girl’s father, Mr Oga Olisa, was said to have reported the case at “B” Divisional police station in Akure, the following day
The police immediately swung into action as they patrolled around very early on that Sunday morning with the father of the girl, in search of her.
Report had it that the victim’s father said he observed a vehicle parked in front of a house in Oke-Aro area of Akure on that fateful day. Hence the landlord of the house was called out to tell them the owner of the vehicle.
“The landlord identified his tenant, one Tolu Davis, as the owner of the car, and he went inside to call him out,” he added.
Confirming the report, the Police Public Relations Officer, SP Fumilayo Odunlana, said the young girl, Olisa was kidnapped by four unknown men at her parents residence at the late hour of Saturday and our men have been around combing the area.
“So far, a male suspect has been arrested by our men of ‘B’ Division police station where the father of the girl reported the case and he has has been handed over to the Anti-Kidnapping Department of the State Police Command in Akure.
“All hands are on deck to ensure the safety of the young girl as high profile investigation is on going,” she assured.
