Kidnapping barbaric, ungodly – Reps Member

The recent kidnapping activities in Osun state has been described as barbaric, ungodly and hostile to humanity.
A Representative for Obokun Oriade Federal Constituency, Mr Oluwole Oke, who stated this in Osogbo condemned the spate of kidnappings, saying the situation is becoming unbearable.
He charged the state government to, as a matter of urgency proffer solutions to the security challenges in the state.
Oke promised to liaise properly with various security operatives to ensure peace and rest of mind for the people.
“I call on the state government to strengthen security of lives and property. Our people could no longer go to their farms or travel from one town to another.
“On my own, I will liaise with the security agencies to ensure that lives are protected.”
It would be recalled that a lawyer was kidnapped at Erinmo -Ijesa junction about four months ago, while two Road Safety Officials were also kidnapped two days ago at Erin-Ijesa, Oriade Local Government, including some lecturers of Osun State College of Technology, Esa Oke who were kidnapped few months ago, while one was killed on Esa-Ijebu-Jesa road.
The Hope gathered that two people were kidnapped on Esa-Odo-Ilare road on Monday and they are still in the den of their abductors.
