U pcoming gospel artiste and mother of two has said she first went into music for money until she was redirected by God from that mindset.
Olutope Osho, a gospel artist declared this while chatting with Friday Extravaganza during Gospel Musicians Association of Nigeria (GOMAN) annual concert tagged ‘One hundred million fund raising’ in Akure during the weekend ‘
She said gospel songs are meant to win souls into the Kingdom of God and added that she started singing when she was at a young age. She boasted that she did not regret it.
Olutope posited that her mission in the music industry is no longer for pecuniary gain, but to win souls into the Kingdom of God.
Her words:”My inspiration comes from the Holy Spirit. My role model is Tope Alabi because it is her style of singing that the Lord gave to me, I have not seen her before but I believe one day we shall meet one on one”.
She said her aim is to achieve what the concert is made for and to praise God and it will be done to his will.
“She charged the upcoming artistes to have focus and vision because if you after money or fame you may loose it.
“I was once a victim but God restored me back and I am very happy to use the story of my life to advise the upcoming gospel artistes”.
