Late Gov: Forum of Ondo ex- Speakers pay condolence visit to Aiyedatiwa

Ondo State Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa has received the forum of former Speakers in the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state in his office on Tuesday to commiserate with him on the passing of the late Governor, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu.

The delegation led by Victor Olabimtan, expressed heartfelt condolences to the governor and the entire people of the state.

The former speakers, acknowledged the inevitability of death and extended prayers for the fortitude of the late governor’s immediate family to bear the loss.

They reflected on Akeredolu’s tenure by recognizing his contributions to the development of the state and expressed confidence in the continuity of his legacy under Governor Aiyedatiwa’s leadership.

During the visit, the former speakers congratulated Governor Aiyedatiwa on assuming office as the 7th civilian governor of the state, expressing their belief in his capacity and capability to carry on the developmental strides initiated by his predecessor.

Pledging their unwavering support, they expressed confidence in his leadership and vision for the state’s progress.

“We believe in your leadership,” remarked the former speakers.

 They emphasized their commitment to collaborating with the present administration to achieve the desired goals for Ondo State.

Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa expressed gratitude for the solidarity and support shown by the forum.

Reflecting on the late governor’s legacy, Aiyédatiwa affirmed his commitment to continuing and completing ongoing projects and initiatives aimed at enhancing infrastructure, agriculture, education, and other sectors of the state’s economy.

“I’m glad you have extended the support you had for the late governor, to this present government,” he stated,

He assured them of his determination to lead the state to greater heights by building on the foundation laid by his predecessor.

The visit had in attendance the Secretary to the State Government (SSG),Tayo Oluwatuyi and the Chief of Staff, Prince Segun Omojuwa.
