Lawmaker promises support for executive

From Agboola Fesobi, Owo
|
The House of Assembly member-elect in Owo Constituency 2, Dr Adeyemi Olayemi has promised to change the past confrontational narrative between the executive and the legislature in Ondo State via his grassroots initiative programme.

The lawmaker said his priority for the people of his constituency is to give the governor maximum support to continue the developmental stride he has started in the last two years for the people of Owo and the entire state at large.

He vowed to give quality representation, leadership and a new paradigm shift from the old order, saying his mission is to carry the people along and organize periodic town hall meetings.

Adeyemi said, he had promised during his campaign to connect directly with the people, bridging the gap between the electorate and the politicians.

He vowed to bring about meaningful impact in all the wards and camps he is representing through empowerment, boreholes drilling to better the lots of the people.

“On getting to the House of Assembly, my constituent’s basic needs will be thoroughly addressed, because it’s a collective victory for the people”

He promised to operate an all-inclusive representation through regular consultation with the people and come out with the best policies and programmes to achieve success.

He further reiterated his commitment to initiate qualitative legislation that would improve the social economic well-being of his constituent and Ondo state in general.
