LG chairman tasks supervisors on grassroots devt

Members of the newly inaugurated local government interim committee in Ese-Odo have been advised by the council chairman, Mr Ojo Omolewa to be focused and committed to grassroots development so as to justify the confidence reposed in them.
Mr Ojo gave the advice while inaugurating the newly appointed supervisors at the Igbekebo civic center during the week.
The council boss said their appointment will aid the council to hit the ground running so as to bring dividends of democracy and by extension good governance to the door steps of everyone irrespective of their political, religious and social beliefs.
While speaking on behalf of the committee members, Zachariah Bowel promised that the interim committee would do everything possible to ensure the success of the All Progressives Congressi Party (APC) in the forthcoming elections at all levels
Zachariah expressed optimism that the constitution of the committee would further strengthen the present administration’s capacity to deliver the dividends of democracy to the people at the grassroots.
