Living a victorious life

By Joshua Iginla

“When thou goest out to battle against thine enemies, and seest horses, chariots and a people more than thou, be not afraid of them: for the Lord thy God is with thee, which brought thee up out of the land of Egypt. And it shall be, when ye are come nigh unto the battle, that the priest shall approach and speak unto the people, and …(Deut 20 vV 1- 4)

2. Avoid Avoidable Battles –
You cannot engage or partake in every battle; there are battles you should quietly avoid even though you have all the requisite apparatus and apparatchik to go into combat with them. The God that called and prepared the people to battle in Deuteronomy 20: 1 – 4 is the same God that forbade them from battle in Deuteronomy 1:42 – 46 “And the Lord said unto me, say unto them, go not up, neither fight; for I am not among you; lest ye be smitten before your enemies…”. There are battles you avoid; not out of fear but by divine instruction and wisdom.
Don’t allow people to pressure and trigger you into battles you don’t need; there are fathers, prophets and helpers of destiny you don’t confront or fight; recall the good times and use it as a healing
balm that will soon annul the bad times. Don’t be proud and haughty; it is not every time you fight for your rights. There are battle wounds that cannot heal instantly; they heal with time. Proverbs 22: 3 sends a warning: “A prudent man forseeth the evil, and hideth himself: but the simple pass on, and are punished”. Be prudent and not just simple; be wise to hide yourself from impending danger that looms and any lurking evil about to be unleashed.
Looks can be quite deceitful; men are in different sizes and classes; not all classmates are age mates; there are those that appear frail and weak but are strongly backed by God; it is not about the size of the container but more of the content of the container; dynamites corne in small packs, so look before you leap! Atimes we unwittingly and ignorantiy draw battles upon ourselves: “We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not”, (I John 5: 18). We were created as untouchable but we use our mouths to to talk and boast of our relative successes to the chagrin of our enemies. You must learn to bridle your tongue and keep some things to yourself so as to avert the fangs of the enemy.
3. Prayer – Prayer is the engine room of spirituality; Jesus lived a prayerful life; why not you? Men ought to
pray and not to faint; the fervent and effectual prayer of the righteous availeth much; a prayerless Christian is a prey to the devil. Pray in and out of season; pray until something happens (PUSH).
4, Be Saved in Christ – Victory is only obtained in Christ; so without being born again in Christ you cannot enjoy any victory. You need to be to be on his side always; you cannot claim to be for him and yet acting against him; you cannot sit on the fence, living a double life and deceiving yourself. Being born-again makes provisions for the love of Christ in your life; it does not just talks about sin but the goodness and victory of God in your life. You cannot have the properties of Satan with you and expect God to allign with you; the fact that others are in srn doesn’t make it right. It is adherence and obedience to God’s standards that ensures permanent victory and eternal life through Jesus Christ, our Lord. The Bible asks: “Wliat shall it profit a man to gain the whole world, and lose his soul”. I declare: Jesus loves you; you are no longer a slave to sin; you are a child of God; you are a victor and not a victim or vanquished; receive the victory of Christ in all aspects of life, in Jesus name.
Now as we close be sure to know that the devil will come to battle with you. Jesus said that in this world you will have many tribulations. He fought the battles and gave us victory; he that gave us his only begotten Son is always in a position to give us anything we ask of him. Don’t be afraid for he will deliver and save you. The devil is too small to defeat you; he can only have the legal right over you when you have lost your personal identity with God. Life battles might have given you a knock out, but your knock down is not a knock out. You are the great come-back kid; you shall rise again. It is not all about winning a battle; but it’s about winning the war. I declare: the Lord is on your side; your victory is assured, in Jesus name.
Finally my beloved: the Bible in Romans 8:37 proclaims: “Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us”. Winning a battle could be seasonal, temporary and even ephemeral; it is a victory for the now; but a conqueror is one bequeathed with a permanent and eternal victory; a victory that inures the crown of glory for ever, and forever on the victor. I declare: as you partake of this our 13™ YEAR ANNIVERSARY, going forward, I see CHARIOTS OF GLORY; your life will be victorious; your victory shall be permanent and eternal; the rest of your life shair be the-best ~uf ymir life;- the ORORO is working on your behalf. It is settled, in Jesus name…CHAMPIONS, SHOUT FIRE!!!
