Living your best life

I welcome my readers as year 2020 is winding up

It is my sincere prayers that this year will give birth to fulfillment of dreams, upliftment in all endeavors, and soundness of health and prosperity of soul in Jesus name. This year, the Lord will showcase His majestic power in our lives. He will show up in such a way that people will acknowledge that power belongs only to Him. Psalm 106:8 reads ” Nevertheless He saved them for His name sake, that He might make His mighty power known.’’
However, you have a part to play. We all have roles to play, No man is a Zombie in the Affairs of his life. It’s a dangerous venture to handover the steering wheel of one’s life to another man. In the final address of Moses to the Children of Israel, he made us to know that life is run by choices. Deuteronomy 30:19 ” I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live.”
Moses gave us some keys to the heart of God here. Your choice of Life will translate to these issues of the Heart that should mark our relationship with God in 2020
1. Our choice of life means loving God.. The acceptable way to love Him is with all our heart. Matthew 22:37, Jesus commanded us ” to Love God with all your heart, with all your soul and with all your mind”
Our love for God will be expressed through these and other channels:
A. Through our love for others. Matthew 22:39 ” and the second is like it, you shall love your neighbor as yourself” whatever law you want to fulfill is locked up in these two laws. When we are able to love God and man, other virtues that will make living pleasant will begin to flow from us. Our love for others will get rid of envy, Jealousy, bitterness, unforgiveness. It will empower us to be full of good deeds which is the testimony of our faith in Christ.
B. Our love for God will empower us for obedience John 14:15 ” if you love me, keep my commandments” He says the proof of our love for Him is the storage of His words in our hearts. Isaiah 1: 19 ” if you are willingand obedient, you shall eat the good of the Land” But you cant obey what you don’t know. Talking about Loving the word of God, David said in Psalm 119:165 ” Great peace have those who love your law, and nothing causes them to stumble” and further in Verse 173 He says ” Let your hand become my help for I have chosen your precepts”
C. Our Love for God will drive us to serve Him Deuteronomy 10:12 ” And Now Israel ( God’s Own Children } what does the Lord you God require of you, but to fear the Lord your God to walk in all His ways, to Love Him and to serve the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul”
Our Love for God will drive us to find out what He has created us for in His kingdom. He created us for a purpose and it is through that purpose that we work for the expansion of His kingdom. We serve Him through our Worship and we worship Him in various ways. Sanctuary keepers worship God through keeping the Church clean. Evangelist worship Him by telling others about Jesus and turning them to the KINGDOM. Whatever you find easy to do is your weapon of service. Let the love of God drive you to deploy it to the Master’s use in 2020 and watch Him fight your battles and give you Victory.
He said this through Apostle Paul in 1 Cor 2:9-10 ” But as it is Written ” Eyes has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him 10 But God has revealed them to us through His spirit; for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God”.
So can we just mention 3 of the Benefits of Loving Him wholeheartedly
1. Romans 8:28 ” And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
2. Nehemiah 1: 5 ” And said, I beseech thee, O Lord God of heaven, the great and terrible God, that keepeth Covenant and mercy for them that love him and observe his commandment:
