Man, 22, docked over alleged burglary, theft

An Ondo Magistrates Court has arraigned a man, Henry Adegoroye Henry, 22, over alleged felony, burglary and stealing.
The Ondo State Police Command charged the defendant with two counts relating to felony and stealing.
According to the prosecutor, Inspector B. Olagbayi, the accused allegedly committed the offence on April 4, 2025, at about 4:00 p.m. at Saint Leo Primary School Ayeyemi, Ondo.
Adegoroye was alleged to have unlawfully entered into Saint Leo Primary School compound with intent to commit felony therein to wit stealing.
He was alleged to have stolen three iron louvers valued N50,000, property of Saint Leo Primary School Ayeyemi,Ondo.
The prosecution said the alleged offences contravened Sections 413 and 390(9) of the Criminal Code, Cap 37, Vol. 1, Laws of Ondo State of Nigeria, 2006.
The defendant, however, pleaded not guilty.
Olagbayi informed the court that three witnesses would testify. He requested time to review the case file.
The magistrate, Mrs F.A Aduroja, granted the defendant bail N100,000, with a responsible surety in like sum.
