The police prosecutor, Sergeant Adebayo Suleiman, called three witnesses of which two were in court. He prayed the court to grant him short adjournment to enable him study the case file and assemble all witnesses.

Counsel to the accused, Barrister Olaniran Oladapo did not object to the prosecution application. But he applied for the bail of his client in  most liberal terms.

In her ruling, the Chief Magistrate, Mrs Victoria Bob-Manuel admitted the accused to bail in the  sum of N1.5milion with two reasonable sureties in like sum. She said they must produce two passport photographs  and evidence of tax payment of the current year.

She adjourned the matter till November 15, 2018 for hearing.
