The police arraigned the defendant on four counts bordering on stealing, assault and conduct likely to cause breach of peace.

The prosecutor, Nelson Akintimehin, informed the court that the defendant and others at large committed the offence on June 12, 2023, between the hour of 10:00-11:00am at End Time Body of Christ Ministries, Ilaje.

Akintimehin said they stole bags of nails, valued not yet known and other properties of the End Time Body of Christ Ministries, Ilaje.

Orimoloye was also alleged of invading the aforementioned church on June 15, 2023, with harmful objects of violence.

He was said to have descended on one Bode Semudara, assaulted him and caused him bodily injuries.

Akintimehin alleged the defendant breached the peace of the church, by ejecting members and carpenters working during the roofing of the church.

Prosecution said the offences contravened Sections 516,390,355 and 249 of the Criminal Code, Cap. 37, Vol 1 Law of Ondo State, 2006.

However, the defendant pleaded not guilty to the charge, while his counsel, Akinlanu Ekundayo, urged the court to grant him bail in most liberal terms.

Chief Magistrate Al-Yunus granted the defendant N500,000 bail with one surety in like sum and adjourned the case till September 28, 2023 for hearing.
