Man arrested for allegedly practising homosexual in Igbokoda

The police in Igbokoda, the headquarters of Ilaje Local Government area of Ondo State have arrested a popular fish seller, Omotayo Omojugba, over allegations of homosexual activities.

According to police source, the suspect has been transferred to Akure, the State capital, for further investigation. Meanwhile, two other suspects connected to the case were reportedly on the run.

A resident, who spoke with The Hope on the condition of anonymity, alleged that Omotayo had been engaging in such act for several years. The resident claimed that Omotayo lured young men with money and gifts, including clothings, to coerce them into sexual relationship.

The latest incident, which reportedly occurred last night, involved an alleged attempt by Omotayo to blackmail his partner by recording a video of their encounter. Sources alleged that the suspect drugged his partner before the act.

Two accomplices, identified as Alex Akinfoyewa and Anikanda Adebowale, were said to have recorded the video and are currently on the run. Omotayo is in police custody as investigations continued.
