A 37-year-old man, Dare Adekunle , has been remanded in prison custody by an Akure Chief Magistrates’ Court sitting at Oke-Eda in Akure, over murder.
The police prosecutor, Inspector Goodluck Uloh, informed the court that Adekunle allegedly used cutlass to machet one Sunday Obaode, on his left hand which later resulted to his death.
Uloh said the accused person committed the offence on July 5, 2019 at about 3pm at Aponle Farm, Oyin Akoko, in the Ondo State Magisterial District.
According to the prosecution, the offences contravened section 316 and punishable under section 319 (1) of the Criminal Code, Cap 37 Volume 1, Laws of Ondo State of Nigeria, 2006.
The plea of the accused was not taken.

Adeyanju directed the prosecutor to make both the original and duplicate of the case file available to the court clerk for safe keeping.
She adjourned till September 16, 2019 for review/ Issuance of legal advice.
