A middle aged man, simply known as Rotimi and popularly called Baba Suwe was on Friday caught red handed having carnal knowledge of her teenage daughter.

The incident which happened at Dedeigbo Street, Uloro quarters in Owo, headquarters of Owo local government has continued to baffle many residents who are still wondering  what could make a man to be having  love affair with his own daughter

The Hope learnt that  Rotimi was caught in the act at about 11.00 pm on Friday when residents who have been alerted of the man’s evil act forcefully opened his door and met him right on top of his daughter.

According to   sources, the daughter who is tired of his father’s assault reported her ordeal to a relation of theirs who lives two buildings away from them and the relation  subsequently relayed this to other residents who have to lay siege to the father to confirm the veracity of the claim.

What the man had been cooking in secret however blew open when the residents forcefully opened his (Rotimi’s) door and caught him in the act.

The Hope learnt that  the residents descended heavily on him by flogging him and were waiting till the following morning to hand him over to the police when he managed to escape from his captors.

An eyewitness at the scene disclosed that the culprit who showed no signs of shame told his captors that he owns his  daughter and can therefore do anything he likes with her and   that should be nobody’s business.

Meanwhile, medical test on the teenage girl has revealed  that she is five months pregnant.
