A truck driver has reportedly tied his wife to a well, after he discovered  the lady has been keeping a man in their matrimonial home located at Oke Aro area of Akure, Ondo State capital.

The Hope Metro gathered that the truck driver, Mr Muyiwa Sikiru, who hails from Osun State, had travelled for three months, only to come back on Independence Day to meet another man living with his wife and their three year-old son in his house.

According to sources, Sikiru had settled his family in Akure and travelled to another state to source for a means of livelihood.

Sources told our correspondent that on arriving Akure on Saturday, the man stepped off at his friend’s house before going home to meet his family.

It was learnt that his friend told that another man has been co-habitating with his wife.

The man who was enraged with the news of his wife’s infidelity, on getting home, went straight into their one-room apartment, dragged her out and tied her to the well beside the house.

Sources said the man bound his estranged wife’s wrists and tied  her to the pole of a well in front of the house while other neighbours helped to carry their child.

It was gathered that the  loverboy, who had gone to the bathroom to have his bath before the arrival of the man, escaped through the window when he overhead the man’s voice.

According to reports, some residents, including children were at the scene to catch a glimpse of the scenario.

Some women were said to have  taken the woman and her husband to the nearest police station.
