Maxima empowers constituents, promises more democratic dividends
…seeks for total support for Gov. Lucky Aiyedatiwa
The lawmaker representing Ose State Constituency, who is also the Chairman house committee on Information at the Ondo State House of Assembly , Chief Olatunji Emmanuel Oshati (Maxima) has empowered over 300 people in his constituency with different categories of empowerment items.
At a well attended and colourful event held at at Idoani, Chief Oshati rallies total support for Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa to emerge victorious at the forthcoming party primary election and even the gubernatorial election.
The Chairman of the occasion who is the Speaker of the State House of Assembly Chief Olamide Oladiji thanked the people of Ose for sending one of their best to the Assembly, describing Chief Oshati as a gentle but courageous man, who is making great strides aimed at the betterment of the State and his constituency.
He mentioned with concerns the deplorable State of the roads which he has experienced first hand and the efforts made at different times, assuring the people that the road will get adequate attention of government soon.
Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa who was represented by his Deputy ,Chief Olayide Adelami, assure the people of Irekari that the deplorable State of Oba-Ikun-Afo-Idoani; will be looked into to ease travel time and to also grant farmers access road to transport their produce.
He assured that Governor Aiyedatiwa is a listening leader, commending Chief Oshati Olatunji for achieving this feat within the short period after his inauguration into office as a Lawmaker representing the area.
Highlights of the event was the presentation of cash to petty traders, elderlies, Free JAMB/UTME forms to indigent students,some people of the constituency got an Agro-input grants from the lawmaker including wheelchairs and crutches to some physically challenged people.
Also,academic materials to schools within the constituency and awards to some members of the constituency who have distinguished themselves in their chosen careers and making their communities and constituency proud were part of the activities of the event.
The event had in attendance senior members of cabinet led by the Deputy Governor Dr. Olayide Adelami, Hon. Eni Omosule, former member of the house of representatives, Special Adviser to the Governor on information, Chief Gbenga Omole, former Commissioner for Agriculture, forestry and natural resources and his Diaspora and Multilateral Relations counterpart Olayato Aribo and Boye Ologbese.
Also in attendance were members of State Assembly led by the Speaker, Chief Olamide Oladij and Hon. Fatai Atẹrẹ of Akoko NW II and Hon. Japhet Oluwatoyin of Akoko NW I. Royal fathers including the Àlàfo of Afo, HRM Oba Egunjobi, the Onimeri of Imeri, HRH Oba Adeniran and Onidogun of Idogun HRH Oba Bakare, Party leaders led by the Chairman APC Ose Local Government, Chief Ladi Tenabe among others.
