May Day: Ondo Speaker calls for workers’ dedication to state’s growth

As Ondo State joined the nation in celebrating Workers’ Day, the Speaker of the Ondo State House of Assembly, Chief Olamide Oladiji, has called on public servants to uphold their commitment to duty and continue their efforts towards the state’s advancement.
In a statement made available to journalists in Akure, Oladiji acknowledged the significant role of workers as the backbone of the government, emphasising that their dedication and hard work are crucial in driving the growth of the state across various sectors.
Highlighting the importance of efficient service delivery, the Speaker encouraged workers to take full advantage of the development opportunities provided by the current administration, particularly the Ondo Service Improvement Programme (OSIP) and the Public Service Training Institute, both aimed at enhancing professional capacity.
Oladiji also praised the Governor of Ondo State, Dr. Lucky Aiyedatiwa, for his consistent focus on improving the welfare of workers.
He assured workers that the administration would continue to prioritise their needs to ensure their well-being.
The Speaker extended warm wishes to all public servants in Ondo State, celebrating their contributions and urging them to remain steadfast in their duties for the continued success of the state.
