No fewer than 14 media practitioners, representatives of non-governmental organisations, and other partners selected from Ondo State are participating in the ongoing HPV/Non-Polio Supplementary Immunization Integrated Activity in Oyo, Oyo State.

The one-day seminar, taking place in the ancient town, is organised by the Oyo State Ministry of Information in collaboration with the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), Lagos Office.

Participants were drawn from the Southwest Zone and Edo State.

The Executive Secretary of the SPHCDA will deliver the keynote address, followed by an overview of the integrated SIAs by UNICEF consultants.

Presentations will be made on the role of the media in mobilising participation and strengthening immunisation, utilising data for action, utilising social media for immunisation and health communication, among other topics.
