An unidentified woman who had been taking refuge in a drainage along Ado /Owo Road was yesterday taken to the State Ministry of Women Affairs in Akure.
Officials of the Ministry came to pick the woman and her baby to the ministry for proper care.
It was not clear where the lady and her baby came from, but they have been sighted for a couple of days sleeping by the road side.
She quickly entered into the Toyota bus of the Women Affairs when asked to do so while one of the officials help carried her baby boy into the vehicle.
When asked why she was staying by the road side, she responded: “I am waiting for somebody to come and pick me.”
