More tributes pour in for late Ondo SSG

Tributes have continued to flood pour in for the late Secretary to the Ondo State Government (SSG), Mr Temitayo Oluwatuyi, fondly known as Tuykana.
The heartfelt messages reflect the profound sense of loss felt across the State and beyond.
Paying a glowing tribute, the chairman of the Ondo State SUBEB, Mr. Victor Olabimtan, highlighted the late SSG’s strong grassroots connections and his unwavering commitment to uplifting the less privileged.
He remarked: “Your demise is unbelievable. Tuykana was a grassroots politician who impacted lives with his philanthropic nature.
“He was very humble, humane, and hardworking. The vacuum created by your demise will be difficult to fill. Rest on till we meet to part no more.”
Also, Special Adviser to the state governor on Infrastructure, Lands, and Housing, Pastor Joseph Ayo Babalola, described Oluwatuyi as an irreplaceable figure in the State politics and Akure Kingdom.
He remarked: “The news of your death came as a rude shock and remains inexpressible.
“A great gem has passed on to the eternal beyond, a monumental loss to Ondo State politics and Akure Kingdom.
“You were a humble, consummate, and astute politician, loaded with principles of reliability, honesty, dependability, and transparency.
“Your philanthropic gestures and accommodating spirit shall remain in our memory. You left us with pain, but heaven has gained a loving brother and leader. Good night, Tukana.”
On her own, NYSC Coordinator for Ondo State, Mrs. Bakare Kuburat, described Oluwatuyi as a devoted public servant who gave his best to the state and the nation.
“The SSG was a jolly good fellow. He served the state and the country to the best of his ability. We love you, but God loves you more.
“May your soul rest in perfect peace, and may God give your family the fortitude to bear this irreplaceable loss. Adieu, adieu, adieu.”
Special Adviser on Hausa and Arewa Central, Alhaji Goniya Garba, extolled the late SSG’s virtues of kindness, humility, and dedication to service.
He noted that Oluwatuyi’s leadership style endeared him to people across ethnic and religious divides.
“Tuykana was a man of peace and an advocate for inclusiveness who worked tirelessly to bring harmony among different groups in the state.
“His death is a great loss not only to Akure Kingdom but to everyone who benefited from his goodwill and exemplary life. May his soul rest in peace, and may God comfort his family.”
Similarly, Hon. Abitogun Stephen, Member of the House of Assembly for Akure South Constituency 2, described Oluwatuyi as a beacon of hope for the Akure community.
He expressed deep sorrow over the loss, stating, “Oluwatuyi Temitayo, you were one of the illustrious sons of Akure, a beacon of hope for the community.
“We are deeply pained by your untimely departure. Adieu, Tuykana. We shall meet on the resurrection day.”
