Mrs Aiyedatiwa presents gifts to New Year first babies

The First Lady of Ondo state, Mrs Oluwaseun Aiyedatiwa, has presented gifts to the first babies born in 2024 at the UNIMEDTH and the Arakale Comprehensive Healthcare, all in Akure, the Ondo State capital.
The two babies; baby Oyelowo, the first newborn at the UNIMEDTH Akure, and baby Ayuba born at the Arakale Comprehensive Healthcare, symbolize hope and promise for the year ahead.
Accompanied by some top government officials, including the Commissioner for Health, Dr. Banji Awolowo Ajaka, among others, the First Lady represented by the Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Development, Olubunmi Osadahun, joyously welcomed the precious arrivals into the world.
She expressed her heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to the new born babies, just as she showered gifts on baby Oyelowo and baby Lukmon, highlighting the significance of the births as a symbol of hope and new beginnings for their families and the state.
The visit aimed to emphasize the government’s commitment to accessible healthcare, promoting parental care, and encouraging exclusive breastfeeding for infant health.
Mrs Aiyedatiwa reiterated government’s dedication to supporting expectant mothers and ensuring the well-being of newborns across Ondo State.
“The First Lady, Mrs. Oluwaseun Aiyedatiwa, extends her warmest congratulations to the families of baby Oyelowo and baby Ayuba, wishing them prosperity and health in their journey of parenthood,” the representative of the First Lady added.
The event concluded with a reaffirmation of the government’s dedication to enhancing healthcare access and services, promising continued support for the well-being of mothers, newborns, and families across Ondo State.
