Mrs Olakunori’s death, a tragedy–Akinyelure

The Senator representing Ondo Central at the National Assembly Dr Ayo Akinyelure, has condemned the killing of Mrs. Funke Olakunori, daughter of Afenifere’s National leader, Pa Reuben Fasoranti.

Akinyelure described the killing of daughter of Afenifere leader as a national tragedy which must be tackled headlong .

Speaking with Journalists after paying condolence to Pa Reuben Fasoranti in his residence, Akinyelure said the alleged killing by the Fulani herdsmen was not only a tragedy to the Fasoranti family but the entire nation.

“This is a national tragedy and confirmation that security of lives and property has eluded us as an individual and as a nation. I want to urge the Federal Government to urgently find solution to these killings which are now becoming rampant in our country”, the statement added.

Akinyelure described the deceased as an easy-going woman describing her death as very unfortunate.
