Musa appointed Kano state sports ambassador

Super Eagles captain Ahmed Musa has been named the Sports Ambassador for Kano State by Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf. This appointment highlights Musa’s enduring dedication to youth empowerment and sports development, not just within Kano but across the country.
As the newly appointed Sports Ambassador, Musa will lead various initiatives designed to foster young talent and cultivate a vibrant sports culture in Kano State. His role will be pivotal in shaping the future of sports and inspiring the next generation of athletes.
In response to the appointment, Musa took to the social media platform X to express his gratitude. He wrote, “I am deeply honoured to be appointed as the Sports Ambassador for Kano State! This opportunity is quite humbling, and I’m excited to work towards empowering the youth and promoting sports development across the state.”
Musa, who recently returned to Kano Pillars for a third spell after his sojourn overseas, further emphasised the rich sporting heritage of the state, adding, “Kano has a rich sporting heritage, and I can’t wait to contribute to building a brighter future for our athletes and communities. Thank you to the Kano State Government, ably led by @Kyusufabba, for this incredible responsibility and opportunity.
