Music should solve societal problems, not noise -Lover G

Musicians have been charged to employ creativity in their songs and channel their energy towards solving societal problems through their songs.
This charge was made by an Ondo based hip hop musician, John Dele, popularly known as “Lover G” in an interview with Friday Extravaganza.
He however urged upcoming artiste to always be creative in their work and try to let their music have a positive impact on the society. Most times, i write songs from anything I see and later turn into songs that will send a message to my listeners”
“Music is not about noise but the content in finding solution to the problem of individuals through song matter most”
“I entertain people through my music, especially unhappy people.
I find a way through my music to make them happy no matter the situation, because when there is lives there is hope”
“I am working on a music to preach to people about the safety of their lives also to youths on the need to work hard in order to become a better person in the future.
The Hip hop artistes noted that he had composed a lot music tracks aimed at solving problems in the society, especially at this time of COVID-19.
The Kogi born musician, who noted that money and lack of sponsors have been the major challenges to his career, said “passion for music makes me flow every day and new ideas come into my thought”.
He advised artistes to desist from hard drug and be loyal to their fans and promoters, adding that “In this pandemic period, they should stay safe and observe social distancing always, wash their hands always and use your face mask”.
