N-Youth league: Sunshine Stars Youth head coach targets victory against R2 Finesse FA
Sunshine Stars Youth Team Head Coach, Olanrewaju Ale has declared that the team is in to pick three points in their first home match against R2 Finesse FA of Lagos tomorrow .
The match is scheduled to be played at the football pitch of Ondo State Football Agency (ODSFA), Sunshine Village, Akure by 3pm.
Ale in his pre-match briefing said: “Nothing but victory is assured in Tuesday’s game with the needed support from the board led by the Chairman, Bamidele Ologunloluwa.
“The boys are fully prepared for their first match against R2 Finesse FA”. We are at an advantage to defeat R2 Finesse FA at home. Sunshine Stars Youth Team has had series of trainings and can’t disappoint our fans because we have waited enough for the day to come. We promise our fans three points with good goals!”
He added that getting three points against R2 Finesse FA is achievable, if his side can utilize their chances.
In the same vein, the team captain, Taiwo Ogunleye assured their teeming fans they will get the three points in their first opener.
“With the series of trainings we have had and the support from our top management and coaching crew, we are assured of victory and we will deliver excellently well.
“We will play good football and entertain our fans with goals.”
Sunshine Stars Youth Team U-19 are placed in the Southern Conference group and will play 14 other youth teams in the N-Youth League.
