In an attempt not to throw the Nigeria National League (NNL) into disrepute, the Nigeria National League Club Owners And Managers Association (NALCOMA) has requested for two weeks postponement of the League.
According to a letter jointly signed by the Chairman and the General Secretary of the Association, Mr Abdul Sule and Layi Adesiyan, the NALCOMA made the request for the league postponement following the inability of about two third (2/3) of the club that are yet to perfect their registration for the season.
It added that the two weeks postponement will enable clubs to perfect their registration and ensure the smooth running of the league to avoid throwing the NNL into disrepute.
However, any club that failed to perfect its registration after the two weeks grace may be denied participation in the 2019/ 2020 league .
