The National Association of Proprietors of Private Schools (NAPPS), Odigbo Local Government chapter has promised to work for the reelection of the State Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu to enable him continue all the good works he has been doing for them and for the growth of education sector in Ondo State.
The association disclosed this during a meeting with All Progressives Congress leaders in Odigbo LG. held at St Paul Pry School, Ore.
The NAPPS Chairman in the area, Pastor Oluwatosin Adeoye, thereafter, presented the association’s requests of the APC leaders, such as Reopening of schools, creation of board for private schools, reduction of heavy tax, levies on private schools proprietors, access to government grants and loans, relevance appointment for their members that are into politics, palliatives for their teachers and mobility for the association in order to assist the APC party and AKETI to actualize his reelection bid.
Pastor Adeoye, however, promised that the association would vote wholeheartedly for Aketi come October 10, 2020
Earlier, the party leadership led by Mr Olusola Oke noted that all political leaders across the three senatorial districts are with Governor Akeredolu and unanimously agreed that Aketi must spend eight years because after Aketi, it would be the turn of Ondo South Senatorial District.
According to him, “we will continue to enjoy the dividends of democracy if Aketi is voted for”.
He assured them that their requests would be channelled to the appropriate quarters.
