NASS to hold Petroleum Science Development symposium

In a bid to educate Nigerian students on the impact of the petroleum sector on science development in Nigeria, the Nigerian Association of Science Students has resolved to embark on a science development symposium centered on the Petroleum sector.

As contained in a press release signed by the National Public Relations Officer of the body, Adeyemi Sunday after a general Congress held at Adeyemi College of Education Ondo, NASS said that the symposium will also provide opportunity for the students to know their research quota in making the development a success.

The statement reads, “The leadership of the Nigerian Association of Science Students (NASS NATIONAL), after her general Congress held at Adeyemi College of Education Ondo, has resolved to embark on a science development symposium centered on the Petroleum sector.

“This is to educate the lots of Nigerian students on the impact of the Petroleum sector on Science development in Nigeria and for them to know their research quota in making the development a success”.

NASS directed science students in all tertiary institutions in Nigeria to liase with the national Secretariat of the association for further information on the event.
