The Ondo State Chapter of the Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN) will engage the Disc Jockey Association of Nigeria (DJAN) in a 5-aside novelty match as part of activities marking the National SWAN Day celebration.

SWAN, founded on February 1, 1964, will commemorate its anniversary with events across the country.

According to a statement signed by the association’s Secretary, Joseph Adesuyan, the event is scheduled to take place on Saturday at 4 p.m.

The statement further highlighted that various activities have been planned to mark the occasion, bringing together invited stakeholders.

Members were encouraged to actively participate in the activities as the Ondo State Chapter remains committed to celebrating the association’s legacy in Nigeria.
