Ondo State Government yesterday commended teachers, especially those in public primary schools for carrying out their duties despite the nationwide strike.
Chairman, Ondo State Universal Basic Education Board, SUBEB, Victor Olabimtan gave the commendation on Tuesday.
The SUBEB boss while commending the teachers for displaying uncommon dedication to duty said their dedication to duty will not go unnoticed.
He enjoined the teachers to continue to do their jobs to the best of their abilities as the government will prioritize their welfare.
Speaking on the premium the Oluwarotimi Akeredolu-led administration placed on education, Olabimtan said not less than 1, 000 teachers from Primary School are currently being trained in the modern School Based Management to enhance effective delivery and performance.
