Nigeria Cricket Federation has unveiled its 1st Turf Wicket at the ongoing National Sports Festival in Abuja.

As Defending Champions, Lagos State locked horns with Kwara State.

Frank Omozejele of Lagos State delivered the 1st ball on the Wicket against Yussuf Akolade, Opening Batsman and Captain of Kwara who also scored the 1st 4 wickets after facing the 3rd delivery but incidentally lost his Wicket on the 5th delivery of the Over. Thanks  to a Run Out from the Lagos Wicket Keeper Joshua Ayannaike.

In the 2nd Innings, Lagos No.2 Batsman; Tunde Ayinde launched the 1st 6 wickets on the Oval.

ICC Rated Umpires, Enesi Amoto and Musa Ehizoje stood for the Match.
