The pair will square off against opponents from Akwa Ibom State.

Also, the duo of Olaoye Habeeb and Peter Ezuba have qualified for the table tennis doubles final.

In traditional wrestling, Otemuyiwa Marvelous also advanced to the final.

Meanwhile, the Ondo State female football team secured a semi-final berth after defeating their Bayelsa counterparts 3-1. In basketball, Team Ondo saw off Akwa Ibom 24-14 to proceed to the semi-finals.

The male football team played a 1-1 draw with Cross River in their second match.

In swimming, Patience Nigeria clinched a bronze medal in the 200 metres freestyle.

Ondo State Table Tennis Association coach, Mayowa Sunday, appreciated the organisers for the platform to further develop his athletes.

Sunday expressed optimism, saying he would be elated if his players clinched gold medals at the festival.
