Juju singer, Dele Taiwo, is set to drop a new gospel song. The song, ‘Funmi Loro So’, which is a duet with gospel singer, Esther Igbekele, will be released on his birthday. According to the singer, he is also set to change his music rhythm for good.

Taiwo said, “This work is a total departure from my usual funky juju blend with few gospel lines. ‘Funmi Loro So’ is a different dish where I begged God for relevance in every area of endeavour’.”

Speaking on his birthday, Taiwo, who is still savouring the success of his last single, ‘Dance O’Clock’, said the new single is his birthday offer to his fans globally.

He said, “For my birthday, I don’t want gifts or greetings other than for all my fans globally to download my birthday release track. Also, I want them to use it to pray for their lives and the lives of well-wishers because it’s working for me positively and I want to extend sincere love globally.”

Taiwo also spoke about his previous works. He said, “Both ‘Wise Up’ and ‘Dance O’Clock’ were recorded in Nigeria and United Kingdom. The inspiration behind ‘Dance O’Clock’ was that I noticed a lot of things are really happening awkwardly in the country. However, we as a people need to make ourselves happy no matter the difficulties. Also, to let people know that the world is coming to an end and so by this, we should all move closer to God and be more prayerful.”

In addition, Taiwo revealed he is planning a big concert/anniversary, which will mark his 35th year in the industry, 31 years of his first album, ‘Magic Moment’, and the release of his new album. This makes it three-in-one events the same day.
