Niger Tornadoes FC ends Sunshine Stars unbeaten runs in the 2019 NPFL match day 7 at the Minna township stadium.
Awwal Tanko opened the score sheet for the home team with a header from Mustapha Ibrahim cross in the 15th minute of the encounter.
Efforts by the Sunshine Stars to find a leveller was restricted by the Niger Tornadoes back four.
Sunshine Stars mildfielder, Anthony Omaka was sent off in the 80th minute for the second bookable offence .
The match was played behind closed doors due to the suspended order on the Niger Tornadoes by the League Management Company (LMC).
The game ended 1-0 in favour of Niger Tornadoes .
